How to Use: Alencef SL 200mg/125mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Sulbactam. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefixime. Addition of Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Alencef SL 200mg/125mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
