Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection effectively.

Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Alferd I 6mg/400mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CAUTION - Alferd I 6mg/400mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Alferd I 6mg/400mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.
