Along with medications, drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are stomach upset, dryness in mouth, headache, fatigue, and allergic reaction. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can make dizziness worse. Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney and liver diseases. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

How to Use: Ascotus CF Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and ambroxol which relieve cough. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Ascotus CF Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
