Introduction: In Treatment of Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies Azelast Nasal Spray provides relief from symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. Moreover, Azelast Nasal Spray may make you feel less sleepy as compared to other antihistamine medicines. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.

Benefits: Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

It may cause nasal irritation and a bitter taste in some people. However, these are temporary and resolve with time. If they do not go away and you are bothered by these side effects, let your doctor know.

Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Azelast Nasal Spray is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. If Missed: If you miss a dose of Azelast Nasal Spray, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
