You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. You must inform your doctor if symptoms do not get improved within 7 days of the treatment. The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, constipation, dizziness, shortness of breath or worsening preexisting breath problem, and rash.
