Introduction: In Local ocular anesthesia Cainpro Eye Drop is an eye anesthetic and is used to numb the eye before surgery (such as cataract), certain tests to prevent pain during the procedure. It works by blocking the pain signals reaching the eye. It works quite quickly and allows carrying out of the procedure without causing pain and distress.

Benefits: This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

It is generally used to assess minor eye trauma, removal of superficial foreign bodies, and during minor ocular surgery. Cainpro Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Before using this medicine, let your doctor know if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine.

How to Use: Cainpro Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Proparacaine and Chlorbutol. Proparacaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain. Chlorbutol is a preservative.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Cainpro Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
