It is also the first choice of painkiller during pregnancy or breastfeeding. In Treatment of Fever Carecof Tablet is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Carecof Tablet. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Carecof Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Carecof Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Carecof Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Carecof Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Carecof Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Carecof Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease. - Liver : CAUTION - Carecof Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Carecof Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Carecof Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
If Missed: If you miss a dose of Carecof Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
