It prevents platelets from sticking together thereby preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. This means you are less likely to suffer from angina, a heart attack, a stroke, or other blockages of blood vessels. It is likely to be prescribed if you have a high risk of cardiovascular disease and should be taken regularly (usually for the rest of your life) to have a preventive effect. In Treatment and prevention of Heart attack Cordage-Plus Capsule SR prevents the formation of blood clots in blood vessels thereby reducing the risk of future heart attacks or strokes. In larger doses, Cordage-Plus Capsule SR may be used in the treatment of a heart attack or a stroke that has been caused by a blood clot. It stops the blood clot that is blocking the supply of blood to the heart from growing any bigger.

How to Use: Cordage-Plus Capsule SR is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It works by preventing platelets from sticking together which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. This lowers the chance of heart attack or stroke.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Cordage-Plus Capsule SR. - Pregnancy : UNSAFE - Cordage-Plus Capsule SR is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Cordage-Plus Capsule SR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Cordage-Plus Capsule SR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : CAUTION - Cordage-Plus Capsule SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cordage-Plus Capsule SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Cordage-Plus Capsule SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. - Liver : CAUTION - Cordage-Plus Capsule SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cordage-Plus Capsule SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Cordage-Plus Capsule SR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Cordage-Plus Capsule SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
