The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in the mouth, stomach upset, nervousness, insomnia, restlessness, headache, and fatigue. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How to Use: Cosorex Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan and cetirizine which relieve dry cough. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Cosorex Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Cosorex Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cosorex Syrup may not be needed in these patients. If Missed: If you miss a dose of Cosorex Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
