Introduction: In Cough Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing. Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. It works by reducing natural substance that your body produces during an allergic reaction. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Benefits: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Description: Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat cough. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out. It also provides relief from seasonal allergic conditions such as runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing and congestion or stuffiness. Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are tremor, headache, palpitations, and muscle cramp. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may also cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can make dizziness worse. Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. Keep it out of reach of children. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

How to Use: Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Salbutamol and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which relieve cough. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which reduces cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine).

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby - Driving : UNSAFE - Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease. - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Drkuff 2 mg/2 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
