Fibroprist Tablet helps control the symptoms associated with uterine fibroids such as excessive menstrual bleeding, lower back pain, and also reduces the size of the existing fibroids. It blocks the action of the enzyme responsible for the growth of the broids. As a result they decrease in size and also stop growing further. Take this medicine as advised by the doctor to get the most benefit.

Fibroprist Tablet reduces symptoms like vaginal bleeding, prolonged periods and lower back pain. It can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is important to note that this medicine makes birth control less effective, so use proper contraceptive methods to avoid pregnancy. This medicine's most common side effects include amenorrhea (absence of menstrual period) and headache. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Usually, your periods stop within 10 days of taking it, but if you still experience heavy bleeding, consult with your doctor. This medicine might stop your period for some time, but periods generally return within 4 weeks after the end of each treatment course. Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have had liver problems or severe asthma. Your doctor may perform regular blood tests to monitor your liver function while taking Fibroprist Tablet. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change how it works. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How to Use: Fibroprist Tablet is a selective progesterone receptor modulator. It works by modifying the action of progesterone (natural female hormone). It is used either before surgery of fibroids or for intermittent (at regular intervals) treatment of fibroids. It helps reduce their size, stops or controls bleeding and increases your red blood cell count.
Safety Advice: - Alcohol : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Fibroprist Tablet. Please consult your doctor. - Pregnancy : UNSAFE - Fibroprist Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Fibroprist Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Fibroprist Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. After taking Fibroprist Tablet, some women experience dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision and/or loss of concentration. If you experience these symptoms, do not drive. - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Fibroprist Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Fibroprist Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If Missed: If you miss a dose of Fibroprist Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
