Flurac Eye Drop

Introduction: In Treatment of Dry eyes Dry eyes is a condition in which your eyes do not produce enough tears to keep them moist. It can be caused by sitting in front of the computer for a long time, certain medications or environmental conditions. Flurac Eye Drop adds moisture to your eyes and keeps them lubricated. This gives relief from burning sensation and discomfort due to dryness of the eyes. Flurac Eye Drop also helps reduce pain and swelling in the eyes. If you wear soft contact lenses, you should remove them before applying Flurac Eye Drop.

Benefits: This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Description: Flurac Eye Drop is a combination medicine used in the treatment of dry eyes. It relieves burning and discomfort caused by dry eyes. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Flurac Eye Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after application. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid and wipe off the extra liquid. Do not use more than you need, it will not clear your condition faster and may only increase the risk of side effects. Using the medicine may cause few common side effects such as burning sensation, irritation, and stinging. These are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. Do not wear contact lenses while using it. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, but let your doctor know of the other medicines you are using. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should first consult their doctors before using the medicine.

How to Use: Flurac Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: flurbiprofen and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose which relieve dry and irritated eyes. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Flurac Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
