Introduction: In Treatment of Migraine Migraine is a type of headache that causes severe throbbing pain on one side of the head. The pain is due to widening of blood vessels in the head. Headset Tablet gives you relief from migraine. It narrows the blood vessels in the head and blocks the release of certain chemicals in the brain that causes pain. By reducing the frequency of headaches, it can help you carry out your daily activities and have a better quality of life. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as it can cause side-effects.

Description: Headset Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of migraine. It relieves the symptoms of migraines and prevents the attack from becoming worse. This medicine helps by narrowing the blood vessels, thereby relieving migraine headaches. Headset Tablet should be taken with food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. You should continue to take this medicine for as long as your doctor advises and do not stop taking it suddenly. Side effects associated with the use of this medicine include nausea, heartburn, chest discomfort, dry mouth, weakness, muscle stiffness, drowsiness, numbness of extremities, and irregular heartbeats. However, these are usually temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or worry you. It may also cause sleepiness at the beginning of your treatment, so do not drive, operate machinery, until you know how this medicine affects you. This medicine may cause changes in your mood and you may feel depressed, therefore, regular monitoring of behavior is important. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any heart problems, as the use of Headset Tablet is contraindicated in some heart diseases. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is required while taking this medicine. Consult your doctor and stop this medicine if you develop severe chest or stomach pain, bloody diarrhea, or significantly high blood pressure, after taking this medicine.

How to Use: Headset Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sumatriptan and Naproxen that treat migraine. Sumatriptan is a selective 5HT1-receptor agonist which relieves headache by narrowing the widened blood vessels in the head. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers and decreases general inflammation and pain caused due to migraine.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Headset Tablet. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Headset Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Headset Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Headset Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Headset Tablet may make you feel dizzy, depressed, sleepy, tired, or make it difficult to sleep. It may also affect your vision. This may affect your driving ability. - Kidney : CAUTION - Headset Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Headset Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CAUTION - Headset Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Headset Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Headset Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
