Introduction: In Treatment of Nausea Ibset Tablet blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation treatment (in adults and children). It is usually taken both before and after chemotherapy or radiation. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from these treatments. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed. In Treatment of Diarrhea Diarrhea is an increase in the frequency of bowel movements or loose watery bowel movements, commonly termed loose motions. Ibset Tablet relieves frequent loose motions and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. Take this medicine as prescribed to get the benefit. Also, drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Benefits: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ibset Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Description: Ibset Tablet is an anti-emetic medicine used to prevent nausea and vomiting in cancer patients during and after chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Additionally, it is used to treat diarrhea in patients with irritable bowel syndrome symptoms. Ibset Tablet will not relieve other side effects associated with cancer treatments. It also has little effect on vomiting caused by motion sickness. You should take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. But, it is better to take this medicine at a fixed time. Remember you should not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor. In case you vomit within one hour of taking a dose then take another dose and avoid heavy meals throughout the day. The most common side effects of taking this medicine include headache and constipation. These symptoms should disappear when you stop taking the medicine. However, if these bother you or do not go away, your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or a blockage in your stomach or intestines. Also, tell your doctor about any other medicine you are using, especially medicines to treat epilepsy, heart problems, cancer, and depression. These may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask for advice from your healthcare team.

How to Use: Ibset Tablet is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Ibset Tablet. Please consult your doctor. - Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Ibset Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Ibset Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor. - Driving : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Ibset Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Ibset Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Ibset Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Ibset Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
