These infections may include otitis media (ear infection), rhinosinusitis (sinus infection), tonsillitis (infection of tonsils), dental abscess (tooth infection), pneumonia (lung infection), cellulitis (skin infection), and urinary tract infection. Usually, children start to feel better within 2-3 days of regular dosing. Dicloxacillin increases the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. Together, the medicines not only kill the infection-causing bacteria but also arrest the spread of the infection.
