The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, loss of appetite, sleepiness, weakness, and dryness in mouth. How to Use: Mefcan TN 500mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mefenamic acid and Tizanidine which relieve abdominal pain. Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant which works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Mefcan TN 500mg/2mg Tablet. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Mefcan TN 500mg/2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Dose adjustment of Mefcan TN 500mg/2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Mefcan TN 500mg/2mg Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Mefcan TN 500mg/2mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
