This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How to Use: Megaclox 125mg/125mg Tablet DT contains two active ingredients: Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. Ampicillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. At the same time, cloxacillin works toward increasing the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. Together, these two medicines not only kill the infection-causing bacteria but also arrest the spread of the infection.

Safety Advice: - Kidney : CAUTION - Megaclox 125mg/125mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Megaclox 125mg/125mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while taking this medicine. - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Megaclox 125mg/125mg Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with liver disease.
