Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate, while Telmisartan is a calcium channel blocker which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin to further relax blood vessels.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : CAUTION - Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER is not recommended in these patients. - Liver : CAUTION - Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. If Missed: If you miss a dose of Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
