Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, diarrhea, headache, decreased blood pressure, weakness, and increased potassium level in blood. How to Use: Olmetrol M 20mg/25mg Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol Succinate. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Olmetrol M 20mg/25mg Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
