Introduction: In Contraception Ormefen Tablet is a contraceptive medicine that stops you from getting pregnant. It is a reliable and safe method for contraception, if used correctly. It does not interrupt with sex and you can lead a normal routine life without any worries. Take it as directed by the doctor to get the most benefit.

Benefits: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ormefen Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Description: Ormefen Tablet is a medicine used as an oral contraceptive pill. It helps to prevent pregnancy as it does not allow implantation of the fertilized ovum to the womb (uterus). In higher doses, Ormefen Tablet is also used to control abnormal vaginal bleeding in women who have not attained menopause (end of the monthly menstrual period). This medicine is only taken once a week, either with or without food. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor is the right person to decide the exact dose, hence follow your doctor's advice. It is a non-hormonal medicine with very minimal side effects but in some cases, it may cause irregularity in your menstrual cycle. If this bothers you or appears serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing this. Before taking this medicine let your doctor know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.

How to Use: Ormefen Tablet is a birth control pill. It acts by preventing the implantation of the fertilized ovum to the womb (uterus).

Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. - Driving : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Ormefen Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Ormefen Tablet in patients with kidney disease.
