Introduction: In Treatment of Bacterial infections Pecef 50mg Tablet DT kills the infection-causing bacteria in your body. This medicine is used to treat many different types of infections such as those of the brain (meningitis), lungs (pneumonia), ear, abdomen, urinary tract, bones and joints, skin, blood, and heart. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.

How to Use: Pecef 50mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, this medicine stops the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and prevents the infection from spreading without making the bacteria resistant to further treatment.

Safety Advice: - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Pecef 50mg Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Pecef 50mg Tablet DT is recommended. However, dose modifications may be required in children with severe kidney disease. - Liver : CAUTION - Pecef 50mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Pecef 50mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
