Description: Poliovac Vaccine is a prescription medicine. This combination of three vaccines is used to prevent Polio infection. It stimulates the immune system to act against the Polio virus to prevent Polio infections. This infection can occur in people of any age group. Poliovac Vaccine is administered by healthcare professionals. It should be taken in the prescribed dose and duration. It is given during childhood. Poliovac Vaccine is generally well tolerated by patients and is also safe in children and babies, however, it may cause few side effects like fever. It is important to inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver disease.

How to Use: Poliovac Vaccine contains inactivated (killed) viruses of all three poliovirus types (I, II & III). It works by causing your body to produce its own protection (antibodies). In the event of infection, these antibodies prevent the spread of the virus to the brain and protect against paralysis.
