Description: Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of vertigo. It prevents the feeling of nausea, vomiting, light-headedness and other symptoms of vertigo. Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Common side effects of this medicine include dryness in the mouth, vomiting, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), fatigue, and headache. These are usually mild and disappear after a short time. Consult your doctor if they persist. This medicine may also cause sleepiness and drowsiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.
How to Use: Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Meclizine and Caffeine. Meclizine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and light-headedness caused by motion sickness. However, it can make you sleepy. Caffeine is stimulant which prevents sleepiness caused by Meclizine.
Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby - Driving : UNSAFE - Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If Missed: If you miss a dose of Progenidoxin 25mg/20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
