Introduction: In Eczema Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Propysalic Ointment moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment. In Psoriasis Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Propysalic Ointment helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Propysalic Ointment. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

How to Use: Propysalic Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin.
Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Propysalic Ointment, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
