How to Use: Rasilez Hct 300 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aliskiren and Hydrochlorothiazide. Aliskiren is a direct renin inhibitor. It works by blocking an enzyme (renin) which causes the blood vessels to tighten. This relaxes blood vessels, lowers blood pressure and allows the heart to pump more efficiently. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Rasilez Hct 300 mg/12.5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
