It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching or irritation in the eyes or ear. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. The most common side effects include irritation at the application site. If this side effect persists for a longer duration, inform your doctor. In case by accident, this medicine goes into your nose or mouth, immediately rinse it off with water. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients of this medicine or taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after using this medicine in the eye as it may cause temproray blurring of the vision.

How to Use: Sianor-D Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Norfloxacin and Dexamethasone. Norfloxacin is an antibiotic which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. This treats your eye/ear infection. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy.

Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Sianor-D Eye/Ear Drops, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
