The doctor will closely monitor your blood pressure, heart rate, and ECG until you become stable. You can also improve the health of your heart by making some lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking, cutting down on alcohol, eating well, taking regular exercise, and managing stress. The most common side effects of this medicine include hypotension (low blood pressure), increased heart rate, nausea, constipation, and headache.
