Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. Description: Spasmonorm Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of abdominal cramps. It works effectively to reduce abdominal pain, bloating and discomfort by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. It also blocks certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Spasmonorm Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, and diarrhea. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness and dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

How to Use: Spasmonorm Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Camylofin and Diclofenac which relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Camylofin is an anticholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps and pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Spasmonorm Tablet. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Spasmonorm Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Spasmonorm Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor. - Driving : UNSAFE - Spasmonorm Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Spasmonorm Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive. - Kidney : CAUTION - Spasmonorm Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Spasmonorm Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CAUTION - Spasmonorm Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Spasmonorm Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.

If Missed: If you miss a dose of Spasmonorm Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
