Introduction: In Eye examination Tropic Plus Eye Drops is a medicine that helps to increase the size of the pupil of the eye so that eye examinations can be carried out thoroughly. Tropic Plus Eye Drops also gives relief from eye pain by relaxing the eye muscles. This medication starts to work in minutes, and its effect usually lasts 24 hours or sometimes longer. It is advisable to inform your doctor if you continue to have blurred vision, sensitivity to light, or dilated (increase in size) pupils several days after your examination.

Benefits: This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Thus, wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from sunlight and other bright lights. The common side effects include pain, stinging, blurring of the vision, photophobia, and allergic reaction. Usually, these symptoms resolve quickly. However, if the symptoms persist or get worse, contact your doctor. It is not advised to drive after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of the vision and may affect your ability to drive.

How to Use: Tropic Plus Eye Drops is a combination of two medicines: Phenylephrine and Tropicamide. Phenylephrine is a decongestant while Tropicamide is an anticholinergic. They work by making the pupil of your eye larger and relax the muscles in your eye. This allows proper examination of the inside of your eye.

Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Tropic Plus Eye Drops, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
