Description: Twinblok Trio Tablet ER is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It is suggested to take the medicine at the morning time to avoid frequent urination at night. Never skip any doses and finish a full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. It may cause side effects like nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, headache, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), weakness, slow heart rate, decreased blood pressure, cold extremities, and numbness of extremities. How to Use: Twinblok Trio Tablet ER is a combination of three medicines: Chlorthalidone, metoprolol and cilnidipine. They work by different mechanisms to provide better control of blood pressure when single or dual therapy is not effective. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate and reduce blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body via increased urination. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Twinblok Trio Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
