Introduction: In Treatment of Piles Ulcoat Ano Rectal Cream is a combination of medicines that promotes healing in plies (hemorrhoids). Menthol, an active ingredient of this medicine, gives a cooling effect to reduce the symptoms such as pain, swelling, irritation or itching caused due to piles. It has a numbing agent that helps in passing the stools easily. It also prevents any infections in the anal area and helps faster recovery. Always use the medicine as prescribed to get maximum benefit. Make sure to avoid spicy, oil-rich food and take plenty of fibers to aid in digestion and ensure speedy recovery.

Use it in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Use it regularly to get maximum benefits from the medicine. Do not apply too much or too often. If you apply a large amount, your body may absorb too much of the medicine and cause some side effects. On application, it may cause numbness or application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration or get worse. Avoid direct contact with your eyes or mouth. In the case of direct contact, wash them thoroughly with plenty of water.

How to Use: Ulcoat Ano Rectal Cream is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine and Sucralfate whichtreat piles. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that provides faster relief from pain due to swelling in piles. Sucralfate is an ulcer medication which covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing.

Safety Advice: If you miss a dose of Ulcoat Ano Rectal Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
