Introduction: In Treatment of Bacterial eye infections Visomer Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines that help to treat eye infections caused by bacteria. Chloramphenicol, an active ingredient of this medicine, kills and stops the growth of the bacteria that is causing the infection. Dexamethasone, on the other hand, helps relieve symptoms such as pain, redness, itching, or soreness caused due to eye infections. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. This medicine will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor.

Benefits: This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

How to Use: Visomer Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Chloramphenicol and Dexamethasone. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
