Introduction: In Prevention of Blood clots Warf 4mg Tablet blocks a substance in the body which is involved in blood clotting. Although it does not “dissolve” blood clots, it can prevent them from getting bigger so your body can dissolve them over time. It will also prevent new ones from forming. It keeps your blood flowing freely around your body and makes it less likely that a clot will form inside a blood vessel. This can help prevent or reduce damage caused by stroke, clots in your lungs (pulmonary embolism) or other blood vessels (thrombosis). It can also make it less likely that parts of a clot will break off and travel to other parts of the body. You should take Warf 4mg Tablet regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes to help this medicine be effective.
Benefits: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Warf 4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Warf 4mg Tablet with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.

You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine. It is preventing future harm. Use of this medicine may increase your risk of bleeding. Let your doctor know immediately if you see pinpoint rash or blood in your vomits, urine, or stool. If you are going under any surgery or dental treatment then you may need to stop this medicine for some time but only after consulting with your doctor. Before taking it, you must inform the doctor if you are suffering from any kidney or liver disease. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the other medications that you are taking regularly.

Safety Advice: - Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Warf 4mg Tablet. - Pregnancy : UNSAFE - Warf 4mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Warf 4mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. - Driving : SAFE - Warf 4mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Warf 4mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Warf 4mg Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular blood tests are recommended when you are taking this medicine. - Liver : CAUTION - Warf 4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Warf 4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
If Missed: If you miss a dose of Warf 4mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
